About Us

Ryan and Joey met during his chief general surgery year as a resident and her fourth year of medical school. He grew up in New Mexico and she is a Texas girl. Today Ryan is an attending general surgeon at Wilford Hall in San Antonio and Joey is a second year OBGYN resident in Galveston TX. They have a new puppy; her name is Rusty and she loves the beach, her friend Ammo, and raw hide bones! We are each blessed with wonderful parents, Kelley, Joe, family, and friends. It will be exciting to plan our wedding now that we are engaged!

Winter Wonderland

Ryan and I are in Albuquerque NM enjoying a wonderful, snow-filled holiday.

We've gotten to see both of my parents (Katherine and Craig), my sister and her husband (Kelley and Russ), and their amazing daughter Eryn! We've all spent the holidays eating, playing games, taking pictures and wearing each other out. Christmas Eve will be spent wrapping presents, eating dinner in Old Town Albuquerque and enjoying luminarias. The only downside is that we don't get to enjoy the holiday with Joey's family too. We wish a Merry Christmas to all our friends and family!
